About Me

Hey, what's up? I just got married last April 12th to my beautiful wife Becky. We are still getting used to each other. But, I guess that's normal because from what I hear that's normal even after 30 years. No kids yet.We moved to Binghamton, NY. I lived in the dutchess/putnam counties area for 30 years. It's a little strange sometimes when I see something new or find a new road or whatever. But life is good otherwise. My big gripe is that there is no Hannaford's grocery stores here. I loved the one that was near me in Brewster. Oh well.I am working for a food distribution company driving tractor-trailers in the northeast. I've been everywhere from Portland, Maine to Erie, Pa to Morgantown, WV to Tom's River, NJ and everywhere in between. It's mostly one day runs but sometimes they are layover runs. No biggie I guess, at most it's two nights a week. It's been good to me so far. The work is easy. Actually it's the easiest job I've ever had. And the best paying one too.I love fishing. That's been a little "rough." I have to find all of the "hotspots." I used to know exactly where to go to catch what and now I'm like "let's try this spot." Plus I've always fished in ponds and resevoirs. I'm not really used to fishing in rivers like the Susquehanna near my house.I do a fair amount of shooting. And some hunting. I do most of that on my parents 225 acre farm which is also adjacent to other good sized farms. So I have plenty of "play space."My Dad and and I also have a great interest in antique tractors. And we own a few. Well, all of which were from his and his Dad's farming days. Slowly (very), but surely we want to get them all fixed up and in good running condition.Last, but most importantly. My family and friends. I treasure every bit of the time I spend with them. Some of us have moved apart for whatever reasons, but we do our best to keep in touch. It's funny how time makes people grow up. Only a few years ago I was unmarried and spent all of my weekends partying with my friends and family. But as time went on some of us have kids, moved, bought houses, new careers and etc. I have made some pretty good friends along the way. Old roomates, co-workers and etc. We all seem to be doing pretty good. I think I did a good job of picking them. My wife included, who I love very much. :)
