I guess the best way to describe me is that I am a pessimistic optimist. Or in other words, I expect the worst of everything but hope for the best. I find that this really helps me in avoiding disappointment if it can be and also brings usually normal things into a more exciting and surprising light. Often times I wish I had a cancer or terminal illness. I fully acknowledge the morbidity of that statement, but my explanation is as follows: I feel very grateful for the friends and family I have. I think I have lived a pretty good life. But, I have no wife or child that depend on me and there are single mothers and fathers, families and friends, who are wishing they weren't in the position of saying goodbye to their loved ones. I would be willing to take their place if that were possible. If there was a "God" that would listen. To save a life, some choose the armed forces...well I would choose what I would dub "charmed courses." It would be my "pay it forward" moment, if you will! Other than that, I love movies and music. I aim for finding that song or movie that completely changes you--alters your view of things. I like catching up with old friends, finding new friends and shooting the proverbial shit with anyone in between. I love playing devil's advocate; for either pleasure or to get people to think. I have often been accused of being a liar. I don't see it as that; I like to use my imagination when I am inspired to do so. I will come clean if I am asked whether or not it is true, but I enjoy sharing what my mind can create. I have come to the conclusion that you find out who people truly are when you see how they react to you pulling their leg. The way I see it, if you can't take a joke, there is no point in selling one. I enjoy using oxymorons and puns in my sarcasm. Had chocolate milk and frozen pizzas not been invented, I wouldn't be here today. I do not believe that whoever said the rhyme did the crime because you could be a poet and not even know it. And finally, I would never view the glass that is life as half empty or half full...I am just glad I have a beverage!
