About Me

I've always tried to be true to myself first and foremost before others, and taking a look around myself at the world that i'm in, I'm battin a thousand by comparison. If you were to ask any of my friends, they'd probably just tell you that I'm a hardworker and a rare sight outside of that. I guess to be truthful, I'd rather just reform sooner than later. The way I see things is this: Choice 1, chosen far too often; party up, work a little, maybe graduate college, and spend the next ten years of your life playing catchup-Nah, don't have the patience for that. Choice 2, not a bad route to go; Get through college, take a year or two off to relax, but still battle through the financial hardship of loans and struggle to rehabilitate your work ethic. Choice 3, my way; While I'm willing and able, and luckily have found a career to consume my interest, work my ass off, save up, and build my finances so I can get a headstart on "retiring" later on in life- yea, work now to party later. Other than working though, I do get out once in a while to excercise socialism in bars, at car meets, and hangin at the poolhall where I used to spend a ton of time. Tuners- people with a genuine interest in the automotive industry, people with the creativity to take a motorized vehicle with four wheels and put an artistic spin on it. Girls- there has got to be a girl out there that has heard of moderation. Can you look in the mirror in the morning and be satisfied with who you are before you put on your front? Music:

I'm gonna not go with "everything" here...thats bullshit. Music was made to express emotion, so if I'm pissed give me rage, or better yet, tame my temper with something softer. If dazed, give me mindless repition and sweeping chords. When I'm down, tell me your sad tale in song. Music can be used either as a medicine or fuel for fire, so let your mood decide which best fits.

Movies:

Comedies are always good, every now and then I go to see a thriller/horror movie or something like that, and I'm a huge fan of Jet Li/Tony Jaa/martial arts based movies.

Television:

I've been watching House on fox now for a little while, and while people skepticize that its so predictable, its not the medicine that intrigues me. The mental interactions in that show is much more than the skin deep.

Books:

I'm streaky with reading, typically I browse into something related to cars. When I do find time though, I'm a sci-fi kind of geek. Occasionally I get a little philosophic too, but 98% of people don't really like that discussion.

Heroes:

I admire a lot of people for different reasons, but overall, I have the most respect for people who can truly express themselves freely. It takes more guts to be yourself in this world than it takes to simply blend in. Comformists may gain all the popularity, but I see that as more of a sign of weakness. Stand up for your convictions, say whats on your mind and not others', and most importantly...be 'you.'
