Welcome to Mama Liz's/Voodoo Lounge Myspace page. We are in Stamford, Lincolnshire, about 10 miles from Peterborough and are at 9A North St in the town. Mama Liz's is a slice of New Orleans in every way, our drinks, food menu, ambiance and decor are all a celebration of the vibrancy and world famous atmosphere of that remarkable city which has given the world so much in so many ways, food, music and good times. We are on three levels, ground floor is the Mama Liz's bar, with a range of cocktails, continental lagers, real ales and much more in a brilliantly recreated slice of Bourbon St, New Orleans. Upstairs is Mama Liz's Soulfood Shack and Steakhouse, serving Cajun and Creole Classics like Gumbo, Jambalya and Cajun Chicken and loads more. Downstairs, in the..cellar is the remarkable Voodoo Lounge Music Club, set in a Victorian wine bottling cellar which is at present being restored and redesigned into an incredible music venue which will astound and thrill even the most seasoned gig going veteran, with the stage set amongst the brick arches, and remarkably, containing some original 'OBEY' artwork on the walls around the stage, DJ desk and bar. Voodoo is set to be the amongst the most exciting new venues anywhere this year.
