I have written a few tunes with Tim MacNeill (ex-arlibido) and hope to head into the studio soon to get those down so I can post some new tunes up on the site. For now I have some cowrites with my old band 60 Watt Vamp.
I also continue to explore musical ideas and am looking for person(s) to complement that vocally and chart some new territory together, cowrite with some new artists and record and release a new original CD that is both melodically and sonically interesting and moving. I enjoy poppy melodies but coupled with quirky music. I love interesting vocals that have a unique quality to them and that I can connect with in some way like Regina Spektor, Feist, Imogen Heap, Free Dominguez, New Buffalo, The Stars, Fiona Apple, Carol Van Dyk (Bettie Serveert), Cardigans, Pixies, Paramore, The Used, Bloc Party, etc.
I have been playing guitar and songwriting in original bands since junior high including the Jody Chapman Band, Kudzu, 60 Watt Vamp and most recently supporting Camille Miller on guitar for her East Coast Dates. I have also produced and engineered numerous CD's for bands such as arlibido.
