About Me

All the music on this page is completely improvised! It's my favorite thing to do; creating 'spontaneous compositions' in the moment. Thankfully, I also have other outlets for more traditional & accessible writing and playing.

Member of the bands Stone Free, Sacred Groove, Wicked Geezer, Full Circle, SoUlFuNkOpErA, Romeo Tango, Family Reunion, J.W.'s Bass Explosion, Moxie Brown, Doc Murdoch (and probably other names consisting of no more than two words, each having a maximum of two syllables).

I've lived in Richmond, VA and Washington, DC, and moved to Raleigh, NC in 2006.

Studio session work has included, among others, recordings for Dave Kline (www.violindave.com), Glenn Fink (the songs Hungry, Trust, 96 Years Old, and Out of This Life at www.glennfink.com & myspace.com/glennfinkmusic), David Michael, White Knuckle Trucker, and forthcoming stuff from the Head Chemists. I'm always up for working with others in the studio.
