I'd like to meet:
There are plenty of people I'd like to meet.... too many probably to mention. Although, I must say, there are just as many people that I would never want to meet!
Music:
Any type of music is pretty cool. I'm not wild about country music (no voice really should twang like that), rap (seriously.. teeth aren't supposed to be made of a metal!) or classical music (unless I need to fall asleep). I would classify my music interests as pretty diverse beyond that. Although, I'm pretty turned off by stuff that becomes too popular too quickly or is loved by 12 year olds! My favorite bands are They Might Be Giants, Cowboy Mouth, Green Day and Jimmy Buffett. My MP3 player holds just about anything imaginable.
Movies:
I enjoy movies, but would prefer to watch them at home. I can't stand sitting in the movie theatre with all those obnoxious people around me. And, seriously, why do some people always insist on hogging the armrests! Share them dammit!
Television:
For anyone who knows me, they know I'm a complete tv junkie. Thank god for TiVo, which is the greatest invention ever! I could watch tv for days on end.... my favorite shows currently include Prison Break, 24, ER, Without a Trace, and pretty much anything that includes any indication that it's reality tv.
Books:
I definately know how to read, I just tend not to do it often! I guess all the years of school haven't worn off on me. Reading tends to lose it's luster when you have to do it rather than do it because you want. When I do read, I tend to read suspense books or legal/investigative books. My favorite authors include Harlen Coben and John Grisham. I'm also a huge fan of the classics like Moby Dick, The Grapes of Wrath, To Kill a Mocking Bird and Scarlet Letter to name a few. But, given a choice, most nights I'd rather watch tv, play video games or surf the net.
