About Me

I'm an animator, graphic designer and artist who believes in designing her own future. I've completed two short animations; 'Black Mary' and 'The Bunyip strikes back'. I want to develop a unique visual style in my animations, while telling quirky, little known dark tales of Australia's past and present.

My first animation screened at the Melbourne Animation festival and a range of other short film festivals. I believe that my third animation will be strong but poignant, both in narrative and visual style. I would love to complete this and show it in Melbourne, but also in Annecy, France and maybe even Cannes!
I'm inspired by the success of Adam Elliot and his unique characters. I love taking part in the animation, film, design and art scene in Melbourne - I don't feel the need to run away to Europe any more.
I would love to hear about the dreams and hopes of other animators and filmmakers.

Pet Quiz

Silly but fun... of course this quiz is about my latest cat, Lola. My male cat Budgie would be closer to Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde.

The Muse has returned...

I started to sketch for the first time in, I think, months, last night. I finally feel that the pressure to make a home for myself is receding. I'm really happy with my new innercity home. I still loo...

I rarely hear good news about animal rights or the environment, so I was very heartened when I went along to a 'coalition against duck shooting' meeting last night. In 1986, when Laurie Levy started t...
