Highly rated ex-Vagabond and The Snakes vocalist. Lande has a vocal capability that is world class, distinctive, rich and spanning a large range. As such the man is in high demand. The 2000 album 'Starfire' boasts many of Lande's working partners past and present including Tnt men guitarist Ronnie Le Tekrø and keyboard player Dag Stokke, The Snakes Sid Ringsby, ex-Conception guitarist Tore Ostby and Millenium's Shane French and Ralph Santolla.
As Lande finished off recording as vocalist for a 2000 Millenium release he was also inducted into the ranks of Yngwie Malmsteen's touring band although in keeping with the fluidity of the guitar maestro's band line-up predictably enough his tenure would be brief. A second Tommy Hansen produced album, 'Worldchanger' arrived in October 2001 under the band name of JORN. Contributing musicians included Rain guitarist Tore Moren, bass player Sid Ringsby and drummer Jan Aksel Blomberg, the latter better known as 'Hellhammer' from Black Metal pioneers Mayhem. Both Moren and Hellhammer subsequently exited to forge Carnivora, cutting the debut 'Judas' opus.
January 2002 would see Lande's name linked to the Masterplan project assembled Helloween refugees guitarist Roland Grapow and drummer Uli Kusch. The resulting Masterplan album would be the first high profile outing to spread the news of Lande’s abilities internationally. Lande would also session on the 2002 Brazen Abbot album. Later that same year the singer announced he had severed ties with his former backing band.
JORN LANDE signed a solo deal with AFM Records, recording a fresh album 'Out To Every Nation' in the Summer of 2003. Musicians on this opus included bassist Magnus Rosèn of Hammerfall alongside thePagan’s Mind pairing of guitarist Jõrn Viggo Lofstad and drummer Stian Kristoffersen. A video clip for the track 'Living With Wolves' was filmed at Vemork, the scene of Nazi Germany's attempts to produce heavy water for atomic weapons. 'Out To Every Nation', charting in both Norway and Sweden, was officially launched with a 1st May gig at the Ritz Nightclub in Skien Norway, Lande also performing a set with Pagan’s Mind billed as 'Jorn & Pagan Snakes'.
Much of 2004 would be spent crafting a new Masterplan album, as well as cutting a duet album, 'The Battle', with Symphony X vocalist Russell Allen and Last Tribe guitarist Magnus Karlsson simply credited to Russel Allen/Jorn Lande. With the release of Masterplan's 'Aeronautics' in early 2005 the singer then engaged in global touring to promote the record.
A new solo album, entitled 'The Duke', would be recorded in 2005 with Tommy Hansen back behind the production desk. Musicians included guitarists Jõrn Viggo Lofstad of Pagan’s Mind and Tore Moren from Carnivora, Morty Black from Tnt on bass guitar with Lande's erstwhile Company of Snakes colleague Willy Bendiksen on drums. Also featured on drums would be Stian Kristoffersen of Pagan’s Mind and Firewind, featuring on a newly recorded version of 'Starfire' from Lande's debut. 'The Duke' included a cover version of Thin Lizzy's 'Are You Ready'. Japanese versions of 'The Duke' added the extra track 'Noose'.
In May 2006 Masterplan fans received a shock when, in the midst of songwriting sessions, JORN LANDE quit, quoting "musical differences". The singer soon bounced back, announcing an "all star" performance at the 'ProgPower' event at Earthlink Live in Atlanta during September. Lande's band for the occasion comprised Zak Stevens of Circle II Circle and ex-Savatage, Lance King of Pyramaze, Michele Luppi from Vision Divine, Pasi Rantanen of Thunderstone, Mikkel Sandager of Mercenary, Michael Eriksen from Circus Maximus and guitarist Mattias "IA" Eklundh of Freak Kitchen.
Recordings for a second Russel Allen/Jorn Lande album, billed 'The Revenge', commenced in August. Jorn issued two solo outings via Frontiers Records in January 2007. 'The Gathering' comprised archve material, some of which was remixed although some songs were completely re-recorded. The second offering, 'Unlocking The Past' involved a collection of cover versions. Included would be renditions of 'On And On' originally recorded by Michael Schenker Group, 'Fool For Your Loving', by Whitesnake, 'Cold Sweat', by Thin Lizzy, 'Lonely Is The Word/Letters From Earth', Black Sabbath, 'Burn', Deep Purple, 'Feel Like Making Love', Bad Company, 'Kill The King', RAINBOW, 'Perfect Strangers', Deep Purple, 'Naked City', Kiss and 'The Day The Earth Caught Fire' originally recorded by City Boy. The July 2007 album by former Uriah Heep man Ken Hensley, 'Blood On The Highway', found Lande guesting on five tracks 'This Is Just The Beginning', 'Blood On The Highway', 'You've Got It', 'Okay (This House Is Down)' and 'We're On Our Way'.This year Jorn features on spectacular projects as Tobias Sammet’s “Avantasia”, along with stars like Alice Cooper and Eric Singer (KISS), Rudolph Schenker (Scorpions), Bob Catley (Magnum)…,and will be touring the world with this project as well as with his own band JORN. He also participates on Arjen Lucassen’s recent concept album “Ayreon -01011001 ”.

"Lonely Are The Brave", was mixed by Tommy Hansen at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark. You are guaranteed to get your adrenaline going with the riveting sound that has solid roots in classic hard rock/heavy metal music, such as Dio, Black Sabbath, Rainbow and Whitesnake.
