DENVER (AP) — A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after postings on the popular Web site MySpace.com allegedly showed him holding handguns, authorities said.The teen was being held at a juvenile detention center facing three misdemeanor charges of juvenile possession of a handgun, said district attorney spokeswoman Pam Russell. He is due in court Feb. 27.Police searched the boy's home after receiving a tip from Evergreen High School on Feb. 10, the same day he was suspended, officials said.

A Bosnian dentist has given his pet dog a gold tooth as a reward for his loyalty.Milan Vujnovic, from Banja Luka, said his eight-month-old Russian terrier Atos knows the gold tooth is 'special'.Vujnovic said: "He likes the fact that he has a gold tooth. He often shows it off because he knows it is something different and special."The Russian terrier is the smartest of all dogs and Atos deserved a special tooth because he is so loyal and special to me."It took me four hours to put the gold cover on his tooth but all the time he just sat there and didn't move an inch. He was as good as gold."He also said he had no fear thieves might try and steal his dog to take the gold tooth."Atos is descended from the dogs that were used by the Soviet KGB. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Daytona Beach police said convenience store owners were selling crack pipes to customers and not even trying to hide it. Four store workers were arrested Wednesday during an undercover sting.Most of the convenience stores that were raided were in the Ridgewood area. Three stores were busted for selling everything you need to smoke crack, except the crack."When you're selling this item as drug paraphernalia, it becomes a felony," explained Sgt. William Walden, Daytona Beach Police Department.Eight convenience stores and four arrests were made because of a rose in a tube. At first, it could appear to be a chintzy gift for your sweetheart. Though most convenience store owners know what else it can be used for.Not many will talk about it, although Wednesday undercover agents were calling it what it is."We told 'em flat out. 'We'd like to get a crack pipe,'" Sgt. Walden said.Those who sold the vials were cuffed and hauled away.Police said another bit of damning evidence was that some of the vendors gave a free piece of "Chore Boy" (like Brillo) with the vials. Crack users roll it up and stick it into the bottom of the vial. It acts like a crack filter."We weren't even asking for the Chore Boy, but, obviously, they knew how to complete the fashioning of them into an actual crack pipe," Sgt. Walden said.Investigators said, if the owners can come up with another use for a vial and a complementary filter together, they will listen.Police are actually surprised they made any arrests. The local Daytona paper ran a story on the rose-in-a-tube Wednesday morning against the wishes of the police. Police said they were lucky the suspects didn't read the paper.______________________________ROODHOUSE, Ill. -- Police in the central Illinois town of Roodhouse said a teen became pinned under a tombstone after tipping it over during a vandalism spree at a local cemetery.Authorities said it took four firefighters to lift a 600-pound gravestone off the 16-year-old boy's leg early Tuesday after he helped knock over that headstone and dozens others.The boy is recovering from undisclosed injuries at a hospital.Police Chief Steve Speeks said the boy will be questioned about the alleged vandalism once he's released.Speeks said about 40 headstones were damaged. Police suspect multiple offenders were involved.The funeral home director estimated the damage at about $10,000Roodhouse is about 60 miles southwest of Springfield.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man says he was attacked by a goat, but its owner says the animal was just playing.After about five minutes, Butler says he let go and started running but the animal charged at him.Butler wasn't injured.He told police he shot the goat, injuring it but not killing it.The animal had escaped from a neighbor's yard through a broken fence.The goat's owner told police the goat was just playing and that he'll fix the fence.
