The Unity in Detroit Project will dispel that myth.With proceeds earmarked for the performing arts programs in the Detroit Public Schools system, the Unity in Detroit Project will make an everlasting mark on the social landscape of Our City.By tapping into the wealth of talent within our community for a worthy and just cause, the Unity in Detroit Project will provide the much needed catalyst to spearhead an unprecedented level of participation in both focus and scope in support of the performing arts programs within the Detroit Public School System.

Detroit has long been recognized for the contribution Detroiters have made to the music industry. Detroit has produced some of the most talented & famous musicians in the world. It is undeniable that Detroit has a wealth of talent.Enlisting the major contributors of the R&B and Hip Hop community here in Detroit in a collaborative effort to support performing arts education within the public school system will be a defining moment in the history of our school system. What once seemed improbable is not only now possible but in the works.
