Theprintspace, creative print studio and gallery, have teamed up with Matt Irwin to offer you the chance of a lifetime. Here’s your chance to show off your photography skills and win the opportunity to be Matt’s assistant on a major shoot. Matt Irwin is commonly regarded as a rising star in today’s fashion photography world, having worked with V Magazine, L’Uomo Vogue, UNIQLO, and being staff photographer at Dazed & Confused.
To Enter:
1. Add theprintspace as a friend on MySpace.
2.Submit a photostory interpreting the 'DIY Fashion' brief, with up to 5 images to [email protected] and wait for a response.
Deadline for submission is 30th October
10 lucky winners will be chosen for a shortlist and have their work featured on our blog, metavisual.net and in the fashion press. Matt’s spontaneous and prosaic style has set him apart from the mainstream of fashion photography, and some have hailed him as part of a new, fresh approach to creating fashion images without gloss or contrivance. Please note: If you are having trouble sending images via Email, check their resolution is set to 72 dpi. You also have the option to send your entry via post, our postal address is available by request.
File submissions should be in JPG form at 72dpi and entries should contain no more than 5 images. Please make sure you also have access to high-resolution versions of the files, at 300dpi and if possible, sized to 20â€x30†inches. Please ensure you have permission to use your images before submission as any images found violating copyrights will not be considered for entry. All images are copyright Matt Irwin
