About Me


BIOGRAPHY
Hailing from Spain, Esenia was formed in 2004 as a project by individuals wanting to make their mark on the goth metal scene. Comprised of local musicians from various other bands, they follow in the footsteps of other well known bands such as The 69 Eyes, HIM, and Lacuna Coil, yet ultimately create a sound that is all their own.
Their first single “Creo” was released as the title track to their first demo in 2004. Only one year later in January they played their first major festival at “Planeta Musical” in Madrid, where they garnered an overall positive response from fans.
October of 2005 saw the release of their Amnio EP, much to the delight of their fans. The album was followed by tour dates in Spain and Portugal, including such shows as the Ortigueria Rock festival alongside bands such as Dragonforce and Sphinx.
The band continued to move forward into 2006, recording and releasing their new single Fragmentos; a taste of their first forthcoming album, El Templo De Las Mareas, released in late 2007. This album was their first major step in cementing their place in the goth metal scene.
Still manage to maintain a style that is unique, and a sound that can be enjoyed by everyone, from commercial pop fans to the darkest metal enthusiasts. Esenia is back in the studio to record their new EP. stay tune for more.
