Quando l’esperienza Radon giunse al termine, i cinque membri della band decisero di distaccarsi dal death metal per sperimentare nuove soluzioni e maturare le proprie conoscenze musicali.
Fu così che Francesco diede vita al suo personalissimo progetto modernista Hybrid, tutt’ora in attività e sempre alla ricerca di nuove soluzioni metal; a seguire il deus ex machina ci sono anche il batterista Alex e il bassista Livio, entrambi felici di seguire l’amico in questa avventura.
Janvierre invece decide di portare avanti la sua one man band black metal Tristan e nel 2006 incide e rilascia il primo full length; inoltre presta la voce a molte band metal e non della scena romana esibendosi dal vivo e registrando alcuni demos.
In questo periodo i ragazzi si perdono un po’ di vista, ma durante i primi mesi del 2007 le strade di Janvierre ed Alex si ricongiungono nuovamente; viene così abbozzata una nuova band dal nome Ironfist. Dopo varie vicissitudini però i due decidono di richiamare a sé anche tutti gli altri vecchi compagni di scuderia, e finalmente a settembre dello stesso anno anche Francesco prende parte al progetto. A seguire arriva Luigi e con lui il gruppo inizia a lavorare sui primi pezzi, ma è soltanto a Febbraio 2008 che con l’arrivo di Livio viene completata definitivamente la line up, la quale ora può del tutto iniziare il suo cammino musicale.
Viene democraticamente scelto il nome di Flame Still Burns (a simboleggiare che nonostante gli anni passati, la voglia di “spaccare†è ancora forte ed alta) e a Maggio la band entra nei Sick Boy Studio per registrare il primo singolo dal titolo It’s Not Love.
Attualmente i Flame Still Burns hanno inciso due nuovi pezzi che vanno ad unirsi a quello che sarà un futuro EP, e contemporaneamente si stanno muovendo per allargare il più possibile la loro cerchia di fans organizzando quante più serate, interviste e colloqui per trovare una possibile etichetta disposta a dar fiducia alla band.
When the Radon experience finished, the five members of band decided to break off from death metal to test new solutions and ripen its musical knowledge.
Francesco started his very personal project named Hybrid, a modern metal band technically exemplary and actually active; to follow the “deus ex machina†there are also Alex the drummer and Livio the bassist, both happy to help the friend in this adventure.
Janvierre instead decides to devote the time to his one man band black metal Tristan, and in 2006 carves and releases the first album; furthermore he lends the voice to many bands of the roman scene doing concerts and registering some demos.
In this period the boys don’t frequent the same places, but during the first months of 2007 the roads of Alex and Janvierre again cross; it so born a band named Ironfist. After some months the two decide to recall also all the other old stable companions, and finally in September of the same year also Francesco takes part to the project. To follow Luigi arrives and with him the group starts working at the first pieces, but is only on February 2008 that the line up is definitively completed with Livio’s arrival, and with him the band can completely begin his musical way.
Democratically comes chosen the name of Flame Still Burns (to symbolize than despite the last years, the wish “to split†is still strong and powerful) and in May the band enters the Sick Boy Studio to register the first single from the It’s Not Love title.
At present Flame Still Burns has released two new songs that will former an ensemble with the possible future EP, and simultaneously the band is moving his steps to widen the fans circle as much as possible with concert live, interwiev and meeting with majors ready to give a chance.
