"NAKED." (That's right, with a period!) is a small, non-profit, organization started by two girls from the East Coast (with a passion for music and their hearts set on Cali.) We are an awareness program, sponsoring bands who support our cause, against hate crime (such as: race, religion, sexual orientation and everything in between.) Hopefully, these bands will be able to help send the message, and let teens out there know, that this is more serious than they realize!!! Music is a universal language, so why not use it to fight against the occurrence of hate crimes? :)
We plan to use actual hate crime cases, such as "Matthew Sheppard" and "Valentine," on our site, to try and educate more people of these tragic events, that are happening everyday!!! The "NAKED.girls" are fulltime college students (majoring in business/political science), who attempt to reach out to as many people as possible (by giving speeches about "NAKED."/handing out free buttons/t-shirts, etc...) "NAKED." wants you to know that, underneath it all (the clothes, the hair, and the make-up), WE'RE ALL THE SAME. A person's just a person, no matter how small... And everyone should to be treated equally!
No one deserves to be mistreated simply because of their skin color, which higher-being they worship/whether they worship a higher-being at all, or who they want to spend the rest of their lives with, regardless of gender. "NAKED." is fed up with all these folks drinkin' wayyy too much haterade. We need to start spreading more love!!! (the good kind.) Now, everybody around the world, GET NAKED.!!!
