About Me

Travis Bowman is a 25-yr-old writer and performer originally from Kentucky. Since he left there six weeks after graduating high school he has been a cadet at West Point, a manager for an international non-profit organization, and an expatriate living in Cambridge, England. His first poetry reading occurred there in 2002 with the poet John Stammers after discovering the poetry of the Sufis. Since then he has read in venues across the US and Europe. These venues range from fire circles in remote forests to the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in Manhattan. He is currently travelling North America performing, tracking the divine, and working to develop a worldwide network of artists, travellers, and sanctuaries.
