Collectively, MOMMYGOD has had an obsession with death since their early teens.
Their extreme appearance and viewpoints are a direct result of their inabilty to come to grips with their own mortality.
On September 23rd 1973, four young men, strangers to each other, simultaneously experienced an inexplicable force, drawing them to the Government Cryogenic Research Research Laboratory at Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica.
Upon meeting, their mission became immediately clear.
It was decided that in order to correctly fufill their mandate, MOMMYGOD's identities must always remain a secret, thus allowing them represent all of the Earth's people equally.
The band members all share a debilitating form of shyness and stage fright.
So obsessed with maintaining their own innocence and purity, the band members will only communicate with the outside world through their own mothers,
or through their immortal spokesperson, MOMMYGOD Herself.
