robin williams is my favorite actor and i like the majority of the movies he's been in, but as far as all time favorites:Punch drunk love, adaptation, braveheart, SPR, what dreams may come, dopamine, casablanca, LOTR movies, sin city, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, awakenings, passion of the christ (i'm no christian, but it's powerful stuff, only saw it once, that was enough), space balls, first three star wars movies, lost in translation, and much more...

the dark elf trilogy will forever be ingrained in my brain, the original dragonlance novels, the Tao of Pooh, which has served as a guid to contentment for me in battered times, and lies: and the lying liars that tell them by Al franken. an inspirational look at the rhetoric of right wing politics, and how so many are led to believe so much that isn't true. left or right, facts are facts, and this book uses them in spades to show logical inconsistencies, fallacious arguments, and outright lies by faces on the right. while this is hardly the limit of my literary parlance, these are the few that stick out in my head currently.
robin williams for having the power to make me laugh and to make me cry, christopher walken for having the balls to make a living off being wierd and quietly disturbing but at the same time amusing, zakk wylde because he plays guitar like an animal, stevie ray vaughan beacuse he plays guitar like a god, zach de la rocha for having the courage and the motivation to speak out when so many choose to turn in, maynard james keenan for his ability to offer insight into the darker pieces of my soul as well as the shape of my most confusing emotions, and gene's mom, for having an inner strength that hides a lifetime of sorrows, and that fortifies a giving spirit, while at the same time being such that it can only be felt and experienced rather than seen by the naked eye. a true inspiration, and a loving human being.
