About Me

A native of the Bronx, N.Y., I've had a passion for music since I was a small child. I've always been able to play back anything I heard on a piano. This prompted my parents to purchase me a small Yamaha keyboard while in grade school. As a pre-teen, I was able to put together multi-track arrangements with very modest equipment. Upon entering high school, I met up with two brothers, (who are also Myspace members) and we formed a singing group. At the end of high school, we headed down our own paths, but made sure we stayed in touch. In college, I purchased my first 8 track digital recorder, and got to work writing and recording with any spare time I had. After just 2 years of college, due to funding issues, I decided to leave school, and re-locate to Richmond, Virginia where I married my High school Love. I also learned that my Brother, (Also a member of Myspace) had a gift of his own. He could rap, and rap well. We began working together, me arranging the tracks, him laying down the lyrics. After a few years, I set up a studio in a spare bedroom of my home, and am working hard to make a name for myself in the industry. Until I do, I continue to go the indie route, producing music I love.

Influences: Stevie Wonder, Prince, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Brian McKnight, Babyface, India Arie, Lauren Hill, Billie Holiday, Nat king Cole, Sam Cooke, Parliment, Funkedelic, Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Teddy Riley, Timbaland, The Neptunes, Joe, The Beetles, Tony, Toni, Tone, The List goes on and on. Last but not least, I cannot go without mentioning a true vocal trainer, Donny Hathaway.
Sounds Like: It's Hard to say. I've been told that some songs have essence of Michael Jackson, some songs have hints of Brian McKnight, and some songs have chord progressions of Stevie Wonder. Quite honestly, I don't feel I belong in a circle of masters such as these, but I definitely accept the compliments.
