Soul in Isolation wurde 1992 von Dave und Robert (Nürnberg/Erlangen) gegründet.
Ihr Debutalbum "On Stranger Tides" veröffentlichte die junge Band 1994 unter dem Plattenlabel "Gymnastic Records" (später: "Chrom-Records").
Als Konzeptalbum hat "On Stranger Tides" die mystische Welt AVALONs und der keltischen Riten zum Thema und führt die Zuhörer durch die zauberhafte und bittersüße Aura der im Nebel verschwundenen Sageninsel.

Nach der zweiten Tournee 1996 zogen sich Dave und Robert aus dem Rampenlicht zurück um neue Inspirationen für ihr zukünftiges musikalisches Schaffen zu suchen.
Seit 2008 sind Soul in Isolation nun wieder im Studio, um das kreative Zeugnis der letzten Jahre bestehend aus mittlerweile mehr als 80 komponierten Songs zu arrangieren und ein neues Album fertigzustellen. Dank an all jene, die Soul in Isolation die Treue gehalten haben.
