PROFESSIONAL: I'm currently shooting a short film based on my feature-length script Sizzlean. Here are some photos of the characters: The Feature script "Sizzlean" (aka "The Captain & The Damsel") was selected for the competitive 2005 FIND (Film Independent) Screenwriters and Producers Labs, and has been a quarter and semi finalist in many screenplay competitions, including the Slamdance screenplay competition and Beverly Hills Film Festival. I directed "Fat, Broke and Horny" (Official Selection New Jersey International Film Festival), a TV pilot I directed and produced, collaborating with Mark Phinney of Aspen Comedy favs For the Kids. In addition to developing "Sizzlean" as my feature debut, Ive directed, shot and produced music videos for bands such as Ok Go, Vis Winters and New Maximum Donkey that have screened nationally, internationally and in the Los Angeles Film Festival. My videos for "Do What You Want" and "You're So Damn Hot" by Ok Go are on this page. I was a part of Sundance and Cannes award-winner "Me and You and Everyone We Know", "D.E.B.S." (Sundance 2004), "Harsh Times" (Toronto 2005), "Kissing Jessica Stein" and the emmy-nominated television show "American Family" from director Gregory Nava and recently production supervised "Slipstream", Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins directorial debut. PERSONAL: I grew up in DC where I lived an oftentimes contradictory existence in an ultra-snobby prep-school filled with politicos' wastoid future frat boys countered by DC post-punk shows (Fugazi, Shudder to Think, Jawbox, Circus Lupus, Nation of Ulysses) with drinking escapades in local parklands, kayaking excursions on the secret, beautiful parts of the Potomac. Communed with nature, micro-brews, mountains, books and movies in Colorado for 4 years. Moved to LA without knowing a soul in search of a life making movies.
