Damien Shine

Singer/songwriter Damien Shine discovered his passion for music at an early age and began writing simple songs in terms of lyrics and melody which provided an outlet for his opinions and emotions. After taking part in a song-writing workshop at sixteen, he taught himself to play the guitar and continued writing like there was no tomorrow. Upon receiving an arts degree, he decided to take his music seriously and following a burst of musical inspiration whilst in Australia, he chose to enrol in the Music, Management and Sound course at C.S.N in Cork. Here, each day immersed in music, he sought to improve his song-writing ability. He's not in this just for fun like green and blue things as they laugh with the sun or wild flowers that will waltz 'til time is none, he's in this for the long run. Don't ask him why he is writing this in the third person because it is a mystery to him also.
