About Me

I've been writing poetry -- trying to write poetry -- for 25 or so years. Moved to New Orleans in September 2007 and presently live in the Bywater area of the city.I've had poems in journals such as Cimarron Review, Verse Daily (on-line), Forklift, Ohio, Poet Lore, Controlled Burn, Confrontation, Powhatan Review, Wisconsin Review, House Organ, Snow Monkey, Square Lake, Main Street Rag, West Wind Review, Puerto Del Sol, Eleventh Muse, Epicenter, and others.Right now I'm trying to get some kind of book together - at least in my mind. I don't think it's quite there yet.The two photos were taken (2006) by my friend Cain in New Orleans. The one outside the church was taken in the Ninth Ward. Everything seemed like a ghost town. One man hammered at his roof. It was the day after Halloween. My favorite holiday.

Look Around
