Road to Purgatory started as a small idea by Chris (Lead Guitar) and Evangelos (Rhythm Guitar) late 2007.After a few weeks they decided to get serious with the band and decided to find a Drummer,Bassist and a Vocalist as soon as possible.
The two members decided to ask Vasilis who was in the same class to be the drummer and he accepted.While searching for a bassist a close friend Alex told the band that he was going to buy a bass so they asked him if he wanted to be the bass player for the band and he accepted.After a few weeks the band decided that they need a vocalist preferably one of the four members and decided that Alex was the best choice.
The four members decided to start writing their own material instead of just covering songs by the great ones.
The bands drummer Vasilis has left due to some prsonal reasons.
After a long and hard searching period the new drummer for the band is Frix.The band and Frix are rehearsing and are ready for live shows....Until then Keep it Thrash
