About Me

Boulder Soul began almost 5 years ago as a purely fun project where I could sing songs with my sister Tricia (we have been singing together since we were very little). However, as Tricia began building her art business, she had little time or inclination for the band. As a result, I am the only singer at this time. Christian is playing bass in the project, Mark Person plays mandolin and guitar, and Jake is now our newest member on guitar. We are getting more solid with each practice and hope to be playing some shows soon. We are considering whether we want to bring in a drummer again.
Last year, I started a new rock project called Gretel Said. We have five songs written at the ground level but still need a drummer and bass player. We will start looking for those members soon, once a few more recordings are complete. The project is just straight rock, nothing serious, and a good time all around. I am hoping to be playing shows by next summer if all goes well.
My third project, the Mossbax, is with some of the men I work with in the Electric Utility industry. We play cover tunes and perform shows about once a year. Mostly, the purpose is just to get together and jam on some favorite tunes. We play anything we want to, including Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Joan Osborne, Carl Perkins, and much, much more. Just let me know if you want to receive notices when this project is playing. Its a fun night of dancing and familiar sounds.
In addition to my projects, I continue to work on my guitar skills, both acoustic and electric. It is slow going due to not much time available to practice. We have done some recording on the home studio system. Jake is very good with electronics and he is starting to get a feel for the recording side of the business. We have completed recordings for two Gretel Said songs, which are on my myspace page, along with a version of "Fallen," which was recorded by Chuck from Pillars of Nein and written by me for Jake.
You can hear more of my work at various myspace pages for Boulder Soul, Pillars of Nein, and Stabitha. Thanks for listening!
