Hey Blink-182 Fans! This is a Page for the best of the best Blink-182 Fans. Here is the history of Blink-182. Well, Blink-182 started out as a little garage band named Duck Tape. It was started out in 1992 in Poway, California. The Trio than consisted of three band members Tom Delonge Guitar/Vocals, Mark Hoppus Bass/ Vocals, and Scott Raynor Drums. Scott Raynor was later replaced by drummer Travis Barker. Delonge Later changed the band named to blink which over time was chnged to blink-182. Blink-182 had a Punk rock sound for most of their early cds. However, Their later Cd's sounded more alternative or pop punk. Blink-182 produced two demo tapes Bhudda and Flyswatter in their early times. These were made for only a few friends and family members. Blink-182 went on to produce their first album "Cheshire Cat". This album included songs such as "M+M's" and "Carousel", these were later added to the "Blink-182 Greatest Hits" in 2005. After, Cheshire Cat Blink-182 prouduced their second album Dude Ranch. This album contained songs such as "Dammit (Growing Up) and "Joise". Also added to the greatest hits album. The next albums were albums that changed blink-182 forever and made them one of the most popular bands. In 1999 Scott Raynor was fired from Blink-182 because of personal problems. Blink-182 then hired Drummer Travis Barker to take the place of Raynor. Barker, Delonge, and Hoppus worked together to produce their next amazing albums. "Enema of the State""Take off your Pants and Jacket" and the "Blink-182 (untitled)" album. Blink-182 also had tours with other bands such as Green day (Pop disaster Tour), No doubt, Saves the day and Jimmy Eats World. The band was at the top of its game until Barker and Hoppus got a phone call from their manager saying Delonge had quit the band. It was announced that Blink-182 was no more. Delonge went on to create Angels & Airwaves, while Barker and Hoppus created a band +44. The former band released a Greatest Hits album in 2005. Blink-182 fans were devastated. Some people gave up hope for the former trio, but some people stayed strong. After a late plane crash of Barker and D.J AM, Blink-182 started talking to each other again claiming.."Life is too short". Hoppus Included in a blog that the trio have not been talking about a Blink reunion. In the month of Febuary 2009, rumors were spreading about a possible Blink-182 Reunion on the Grammys. Although many people doubted this rumor David Kennedy of AVA kind of let it slip out. On Febuary 8th, 2009 the rumors were answered. Hoppus, Delonge and Barker appeared on stage at the grammys together for the first time in almost 4 years, coming out to the bands 1999 hit "Whats my age again?". Hoppus broke the silence saying "Isnt it great seeing the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again? Barker added that they played music together and decided they wanted to play music together again. Hoppus said "Blink-182 is back!" They than announced the winners for best rock album. Coldplay "Viva La Vida". Minutes after their appearance, www.blink182.com was updated with a new picture, logo, and message. The message talked about how they were back and working on a new album and to get ready for Summer 2009. Speical shrts and hoodies also went on sale for $10 until Feb. 22.
