A lot of other publisher say things like, "Authors who fit our style." But, really, we want to meet people who will buy the books.
Our titles that you should buy:
The Blue Life Sketches
This collection of poetry is Jonathan Treadway's publication debut. Each piece brings in the author's rich biography and geography to compliment an eloquent writing style of simplicity. Raised as a preacher's son, only to later fail at the family business, allows Treadway's allusions to overlap in a contest of once-was faith in the buckle of the Bible belt: Kentucky. Colloquialisms are turned askew in literate fodder for each poem, not - as some might imagine - in the style of previous American writers from the South, but in a Ulysses-esque way of making us see familiar words for the first time.Typed on a Royal Quiet DeLuxe, this 40-page book is composed of hand-sewn vellum pages with off-white inlays to give the brittle feel of something valuable. Each one has an embedded violet dove-tailed lace bookmark and the covers are hand-stamped; first by gold lettering, later by each individual beer bottle.
When You Fall In Love With Damaged Good
These are the journal entries of Lindsay Buchel from the ages of 17 to 21. Initially, they read as disjointed entries from random excerpts; a slapdash of spontaneous thoughts captured in well-constructed words--- but as disjointed and random as anyone's life may be, it is still a progression of events. Somewhere in the reading of these concise blurb's from Buchel's mind emerges an image of a young woman as disturbingly beautiful as the sentences she creates.
The staggering ups and downs of her life are echoed in the playful font of a Corona #3. Made in 1917, this machine needed to be unfolded from it's carrying case-- the world's first laptop --as these entries unfold their own way into your life after reading them.

False Starts, Fragments and Falsehoods
Either everything in this book is a lie or the title is--- it is tough to tell. The content is difficult to believe: buying bits of a woman's body, making molotov cocktails for our generation out of Hostess Pink Snowballs and chopsticks, late night bottles of booze that have more of a social life than the author. But each becomes difficult to discount after reading these maybe-autobiographical stories.
Typed in the font of a classic Oliver No. 5 with its butterfly falling keys, these textured stories will have you rereading each cryptic line to try to find a lie or a truth within it.

the alley flowers bloom for every drunk who pisses on them save for me
This chapbook is the first compilation from Oregon author c.vance. Using words as an exploration of aesthetics, the content in these short stories and poems is sparse--- the emphasis, instead, is on beauty. The beauty of words on the page visually, phonetically and how they continually explore women.
Typed in the font of an Underwood No. 5, this post-Bukowski drunkard's autobiographical excerpts are rendered in a way that makes such ugliness attractive.
