I grew up in Reston VA where there is something in the water. Went to college at Radford where there is something in the beer. I ran communications for a Congressional campaign while not really knowing what I was doing. I then became a consultant on grassroots lobbying for companies like Direct Impact and Fleishman Hillard, the PR firm and did this for the next 7 or so years. I worked for good guys and bad guys alike and was a hired gun. I needed redemption so I had to leave and do my own thing. Without knowing what that thing was, I decided to go get my MBA at George Washington University to give me time to come up with a good plan. After a few failed entrepreneurial attempts, I am now heading up a new online venture. Look for our cool stuff soon.Music: I started playing drums in college where I formed a Appalachian punk thing called Selah. Then I got into alternative country after hearing Uncle Tupelo and formed a band called Hooverville. Quit that and joined Sixty Acres and put out the "Good Ethel" CD, which did much better in sales and on the radio than we did live on stage. After that band broke up, I got into Ubiquitone, where I still am today. We played lots of hippie festivals big and small around the mid-atlantic region and have put out two CDs: The Essex Shuck and Americondition. I've been sorta teaching myself the banjo a bit.
