Mr. Ren

It all started in New Jersey the birthplace and the setting for my life story, introducing Mr. Ren. I've always been a fan of music so naturally I tried it out, the journey began around the summer of '95( a classic year for hip-hop ) with home made freestyles on tape recorders and instrumentals for fun. Then around the summer of '99 I became more serious about it ,running with a group called "Gran Larcany" but then things started to pick up when the "Headhuntaz" group was formed a few years later. Through several showcases, recordings, dvds, and a mix tape we began to make a name for ourselves. Fast forward to the present, I'm here to make my presence felt once again but this time on a solo mission, beginning this chapter with "The Nite Lasts Forever". I'm stronger than ever and accept the title as the "underdog" that's my motivation. It's all about lyrics over here I deliver strong hooks over strong beats, however I pride myself on wordplay ,content,delivery, and most of all bars!! Ain't no slacking over here.. instead of complaining about the current state of hip-hop, I try to make it better simply by making better music. My music is made not only to entertain, but to inspire as well. Life is filled with negative and positive things which is what i try to reflect. I display my strengths as well as my weaknesses which is what makes me not perfect but human, which is what also separates me from these "typical" so-called artists who see this as a trend or a gimmick and that is the difference between a rapper and an emcee .. at the end of the day it's just my point of view and my perspective I speak on behalf of those who can relate and for those who can't .. close your eyes and let your ears guide you through because there is a message after all..Welcome
