Networking into the New York’s music scene John got the attention of Missy Elliot and Timberland’s entertainment lawyer Louise West of West Entertainment. She introduced him to CEO/Owner of Debonair Entertainment Phillip “Debonair†Pierre. John later signed with Debonair Management Company and began working on his project immediately. Performing and recording from Atlanta to Massachusetts… attending album listening parties for artist/CEO/producer Mack Mall, hosted by Big Daddy Kane. In addition, mingling amongst big names like Busta Rhymes, Major Figures and Chino XL. Interviewed by Washington DC and Connecticut radio stations, advocates, newspapers, etc…. exposure was peaking, but due to revenue issues John decided that he would make a change for the best and went back to school to learn the business aspect of the Music Industry. After contributing to the Connecticut music scene for a decade and a half, John “Doe Boy†Haddock has returned… leaving the music business as $eymo Money and returning as Doe-boy “Da Profitâ€. As he is a legend in the making, it is an understatement… John is a legend! With his catchy chorus lines, enigma style, polished deliverance and clever usage of wording, Doe-boy possesses the talent, determination, drive and business attitude to prevail in today’s music industry. On September 2005 he started a New Haven, Connecticut based record imprint G.M.E Records LLC (Gutta Music Entertainment LLC) with subsidiary entities such as Jhaliyah Tiora Publishing LLC and Fort Knox Productions. Establishing a roster predominately of Connecticut talent, including himself… He claims to be “GUTTAâ€, It’$ Gutta Baby!!!!
