I'm just your run of the mill rescue Dog. From what I've been told, I am a Catahoula Leopard Dog, with maybe some Lab thrown in for good measure ~ Go ahead and give Catahoula a Google, it's a real breed, in fact, it is the state dog of Louisiana.
Most days I spend time hanging out in my neighborhood. My human works from home so we are almost always together. She takes me to dog school and teaches me all kinds of tricks. We also go to the park, the river and have been on some cool road trips.
I love hanging out and playing with my best friend and neighbor, Cowboy Jim, but I have lots of cool friends that I hang out with all the time. For a dog, I have a very active social life. There is always something going on around here.
I am hoping to get more active in the community, maybe take up writing a column for the local paper or something. Us dogs just don't get our say in the media as much as we would like. Since I know all these cool tricks, I would also like to get involved in agility sports and also maybe even try my hand at doggie acting & modeling. I am quite the ham after all. Just try to deny my chiseled features and rugged good looks.
I think I'm just about perfect, but in spite of that, it seems I'm always in some kind of trouble. Not "smoking behind school" kind of trouble, but just "typical boy" type trouble. You know, mud tracks in the house, destroying the carpet, eating nice pillows & bedding and of course the destruction of the occasional shoe.
Eh' what ya gonna do?!
