Brent is a respected DJ and promoter and is often listed as one of Winnipeg’s favourite and influential DJs due to his seamless mixing skills behind the decks.Establishing himself on the club circuit while cutting his teeth as a resident DJ at the infamous 'Neon Nights' at Scandals from 1992 to 1996 where he played an eclectic mix of everything under the sun including alternative rock, industrial and underground dance music. Brent has also held residencies at many other influential club nights including Therapy, Chocolate Sundaes, Groove Factory and Hi Jinx as well as monthly warehouse parties including the legendary Panic parties at 123 Princess.From March 2000 to July 2001, Brent was resident DJ and promoter of Lustre, a weekly Saturday club night dedicated to the sounds of deep pumpin' house and soulful music, which brought Winnipeg’s club life to a new level and to this day remains one of Winnipeg’s most successful club nights. Following Lustre, Brent took a break from promoting a weekly event and focused on playing various clubs and events throughout Winnipeg and has also played in Mexico City, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina and Saskatoon.Brent Phillips has shook many dancefloors with his dynamic and eclectic style and has played alongside Kevin Yost, DJ Diz, Jay Tripwire, Nick Holder, Jon Lemmon, Fred Everything, JT Donaldson, Llorca, John Acquaviva, Abacus, Luke McKeehan, DJ Dano, David Duriez, Robbie Hardkiss, The Stickmen, JoJo Flores, Miguel Graça, Jamie Thinnes and many more.Currently Brent is playing every Saturday night at Bar Italia.****For the most part, I don't approve flyers in my comments section, so if you send me one and don't see it - don't take it personally.
