Heartfelt, relaxing, easy listening, feel good music. Those are just a few of the words best used to describe Brian Colburn and his music. Originally a guitarist in a local New Jersey rock band, Brian decided a few years ago to finally give his love for acoustic music a go. After months in a recording studio, writing and recording his own music, the result was his first solo album “Literal Fiction” (2008) and now the newly released “Time Marches On” (2009).
Brian puts his heart and soul into his music. If you are not a fan of acoustic music, you will be after listening to him. A family man at heart, it all comes through his guitar, melody and lyrics. Can he be compared to anyone? Not at all. Brian is himself; there is no one else.
His own words sum up your listening experience perfectly: “Just sit back, relax and let the music be your friend”. Thank you, Brian. We will do exactly that.
