I am retired from civil service. I did all kinds of clerical work for the Government. However, I am an RN. Got burned out on Nursing years ago, so I went to work for the Government in clerical work and stayed. I maintain my RN license because it was so hard to get. I have been married to same guy since 1978, it has not always been a bed of roses, but that is life. We have one grown daughter, (see www.myspace.com/princess05) she still lives at home and is going to University of North Florida. We are members of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. We lived in Texas and Alaska when husband was in the Army.

While in Alaska, I worked for the Corps of Engineers, AK District, Elmendorf, AFB, AK. After moving to Florida, I worked for the US Navy and the US Army at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville. My husband Retired from the Air National Guard and is currently a Truck Driver.
I am a very sensitive person, I am also very intuitive. I like to deal with genuine people, not fakes, not liars, and not anyone trying to get ahead by putting me down or stepping on me. I will go out of my way to help you, however, I will go out of my way to avoid you if I think you have wronged me. I can spot a phony a mile away. I was a child of divorced parents and spent a lot of time with my grandparents. I miss my grandparents, they were good people. I am of Scottish, Irish, and English descent, but I am most proud to be American.
During the last year (07) my daughter left home, got married and made me a grandma Oct 15. His name is Christian and he is a beautiful baby.

I have a very romantic streak, love romantic movies, music and books. I enjoy Southern cooking and Jazz music. I am NOT a crowd follower, I tend to be more of a loner than a joiner. I enjoy and attend my church regularly and love contemporary gospel music. I still enjoy the old Motown sounds and the music of the 70's.

Jennifer also left her Pomeranian, Giorgio with her Dad & I when she moved out and also in October adopted a blind Pekinese she fell in love with at Animal Control. The blind Peke is living here with us also, because she is special needs and we can better take care of her since Jennifer has the baby. Our little blind Peke is named Tinkerbell Woo Tang.
