About Me

So I'm jumping back on board with Silveth to play some shows and to see what happens. I'm playing a metal show on may 18th and 29th with Alex and Ruston with the addition of a new bassist and new synth guy whom I have yet to meet. For those of you who know me, you'll know that this is my first show since 2002ish. Yes I'm excited. As far as my own material, I hooked up with Exit to Eternity's drummer Dmitry who very selflessly offered to drum up a Carpathian metal storm on my debut album. Adam Reich [producer/engineer of Dead Men Dreaming, etc] also got talked into playing bass for me when we were really, really stoned, and I'm holding him to it! ha! So I've been playing like crazy, getting as tight and fast as I can.. writing new parts, arranging them in a progressive 'pat shea' fashion.. practicing all the old Silveth stuff.. keeping my drum chops up, fore I plan to join a cover band as a drummer to make some extra cash on the side. So: [1] paint [2] cover band [3] guitar lessons [4] do sound at underground shows [5] never get a real job [6] have the best time possible. That's my agenda. What's yours?

So I'm relocating to the house of metal in Philly with Alex and Ruston and we're going to play all day, everyday. We're preparing for serious world domination. I met the new bass player, THOROUS, and he's the perfect guy for the job, perfect being a serious understatement. With this crew forged into the eternal flaming abyss in which brutal, yet beautiful metal exists, we shall send heavily distorted and blisteringly fast, face melting ripples through the international black/death/melodic metal habitat. Television:

I hate TV. only time i watch it is to watch a movie or to watch a car show.. or to watch family guy, oz, south park crap like that. Commercials are mind numbing and knock your EQ down 2 points per every 1 commercial. I'd rather kill brain cells in more fun ways.

Books:

Reading 'A Brief History of Time' By Stephen Hawking. Amazing. Physics rock. I love space, time, space time, thinking about how insignificant we all are, how unimaginably huge the universe is. staring at the stars.
