Who is Girlie?.... Hailing from the beautiful island of Jamaica, she is a trendsetting, money maker, free spirit who intends on sharing good music with the world, through her vision to entertain millions. On a fun filled quest, she moved to Miami Summer 2000, where she spent 5 years before moving to Atlanta ending of 2005. Where she then pursued a lucrative career in Real Estate, loved the money, but still wasn't fulfilled as she knew ultimately her heart was in music. Upon visiting Miami Christmas 2006 music literally fell in her lap. One night while driving, she got pulled over by a local producer who was intrigued by her and who thought she was a ( model, singer, or just someone in the industry ) she quickly responded with " I'm an Artist" Upon that reply the very next day she and her friend at the time went into the studio and recorded their first song ever. Soon after while visiting Miami again Memorial 2007, the then "Rap Duo" met with Producer Develop ( Lil Wayne/ Fireman, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy to name a few) who immediately saw her Star appeal, Hence "SupaStar" the group was born and Girlie never looked back. They spent the whole summer recording close to twenty records. During that time of August 2007 Girlie was faced with a devastating and tragic experience with the sudden passing of her Father who was back in Jamaica, after spending only one week there for his Funeral she quickly got back to the U.S. and in the studio where she persevered on her music " Music was my only outlet in my time of grief and despair, knowing that he would have wanted me to keep going" She added. In September 2007 Develop moved the group to New York, where they continued to record and soon began taken meetings with various Major Record Labels. Right before getting signed the group fell apart as her then partner had personal issues too great to cope with, who went back to Miami Memorial 2008 and never came back. That did not stop Girlie at this point, her eyes was still on the prize so she quickly remedied the ill fated situation by immediately returning to Atlanta, where she worked with various producers including the Grammy Award Winning Producers The J.U.S.T.I.C.E League, who has both inspired and helped craft Girlie into a stronger artist. Currently Girlie is focused on debuting herself as a now Solo Artist, with her FRESH single! Boujee, produced by the super talented Antwone/Black Beatles Productions.
