Greetings! My name is Matt and i live in a place called Galashiels near Edinburgh in Scotland. I am Pagan, one of my bloodlines goes back through switzerland and ireland, back through helvetians and vikings. My other bloodline, and that of my fathers, is both scottish and irish. I tend to lean towards norse paganism, as the way of honour seems more appropriate to my lifestyle. Life is a beautiful thing,and i plan to make the most of that, by spiritually connecting with natural elements and appreciating the "natural"world.In every situation, i prefer primitive techniques to that of our modern world. In other words, i do things the ways that our ancestors would have done them. If there is anything in this world that i do dislike it is modernisation. I dream of living in the times when nature was as big a part of a man as that of his own beating heart.Knowing that that is near impossible, i try to make sure i appreciate the lifes of my ancestors, and have a strict regime of reflection time towards their souls. I hope to meet them one day, whether it be through spirit or that of the afterlife.I am also the lead vocalist in the Pictish Celtic metal band - Fortriu,and the rising Fortrius, who are currently getting ready to take the folk metal genre by storm, with highland fury!
