About Me

Well.... I'm a 22 year old male and married to my wonderful wife Emily... we got married on October 13 and it was amazing.. I enjoy being with my wife, fishing, hunting, listenin to music, playin guitar, reading novels, and I am getting back into boxing. I am studying English, and I am set to commission in the Marine Corps in July.

My Interests

Running, reading, lifting weights, playing guitar, telling jokes, watching movies, writing.

I listen to a little bit of everything... Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Audioslave, Eagles, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jack Johnson, Toby Keith, Trace Atkins, Johnny Cash, Death Cab, Skynyrd, Atmosphere, Sondre Lerche,Keane, Mr. Frank Sinatra, could go on but I probably lost most of you at Johnny Cash

Movies:

Dead Poets Societ, Billy Elliot, Boondock Saints, Angels in the Outfield, Rookie of the Year, Empire Falls Parts 1&2, Almost Famous, Walk the Line, Lucky Number Slevin, The Departed, Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, Gone Baby Gone, The Shining, Helter Skelter, American History X, We Were Soldiers, and the list goes on.

Television:

I try and refrain from watching, and usually prefer a book, but I do like ESPN and a little HG TV

Books:

Peace Like a River, the Bible, the Oldest Rookie, Down and Out in Paris and London, Mother Night, The Red Badge of Courage, The Last Best League, anything by Jack London, anything not Herman Melville.

Heroes:

Marines.

I'm wicked excited, because I just passed my PFT with a high enough score for OCS, and will be headed there next summer... probably for 11 weeks.  Anyway, it seems things are working out.
