Who I am and what I like

About Me

I'm a lifelong music obsessive and also DJ a bit, which I've done since the punk years (77 onwards). I'm currently DJing with my friend Gerry - see the photo of us at Love's Gone Bad! We've also played the Dirty Water Club several times having been punters there for aeons. I like a lot of 60s garage/punk stuff but also like krautrock, original 70s/80s hip hop, 50s doowop, my Dad's old records, some current stuff and loads more (see the list below!)I'm also into cinema, mostly subtitled arthouse stuff, wild open spaces, deserted seaside towns in winter, the Outer Hebrides, Stockholm, Tresco/Bryher - Scilly Isles, but still enjoy living in London after being here for 25 years. I'm 5af a friend of Kew Gardens, appreciate modern art/architecture and can be socially gregarious but can also be happy in my own little world. Oh, and I've got a very unusual Turkish cat.
