one new two-track single per month, featuring a song-writing/performance collaboration with another artist/member of the public and a ‘cover version’ of a song by the other artist (or their own choice of cover version if they wish) performed by Schwein Eimer.
All of this is available exclusively as a free download from this (and the subsequent) myspace page(s).The aims:to build up a ‘virtual album’ over the year that friends and fans can download and enjoy purely for the fun of new-music’s sake.The idea:For the first three months of 2008, from January until March, the number of songs on the Schwein Eimer main site increased from two to six. Then between April and June the next six songs will appear on the Schwein-Eimer 2 site. This will happen again from July to September on Schwein-Eimer 3 site, and October to December on Schwein-Eimer 4.The sleeve artwork for each song and lyrics will be available for download too on the four sites.
By January 2009, the whole 24-song project will be available. We will add Schwein-Eimer sites 2-4 as our friends so you can find them easily!YOUR PUBLIC NEEDS YOU:Guest performers and getting involved
On the first track of the project, ‘Let The People Hear You’, Schwein-Eimer collaborated with his grandmother of 97 years. The intention is to create collaborations with different ‘public artists’ for each single of the project.
