Chris Carter... yup, that's me. Funny story: I lost my user name and password for my old account, so I've made a new one.I moved back to Knoxville in January '08 after being laid off in Minneapolis. I gotta say, Knoxville is still very much the Knoxville I left a few years back. It's nice to be back and running into familiar faces.Currently, I'm taking up space at various friend's and family's places and attending the the Fall term to at DMACC. Finding work has been... difficult... but I am sure something will come along. I did receive a grant for continuing education from the state of Minnesota. I'm immeasurably excited about being able to go back to school, and plan to take full advantage of this opportunity I have been blessed with.School is proving to be extremely fulfilling. I've made quite a few new friends, and the classes (for the most part) are challenging. Having thought I knew it all and learning a new thing or seeing a familiar aspect of graphic design in a new light every day has been great. It has also been fantastic to dust off the drawing pencil and start creating again (if not also a bit frustrating.)I've retired from World of Warcraft into the foreseeable future. I simply don't have any interest anymore. Lately, when not hanging out with friends and family, I keep myself occupied with Kongregate . That, and playing paintball with some buddies of mine every other weekend.I also freelance some. A few examples can be seen at this website . The last project I worked on was a logo for Savoir Faire in Knoxville.Once I wrap up school, I plan to move again, and find new adventures in another city.
