Seven Second Delay

About Me

We are Seven Second Delay, a five-piece hard rock act based out of Staten Island. We aren't here to change the scene, we aren't here to fit into the scene. If you're looking for a band that will completely defy convention, then please look somewhere else. We're here to have fun, pour energy into our live shows, and rock out. Sound simple? Well it is. We Play. You Listen. Hopefully, you enjoy it.
The Band:
James Queally (Vocals)- James Queally likes to think he's a veteran of the SI Scene, but that's only because he's 18 and a pretentious prick. James has been playing shows since he was 15. He started out as the lead singer of the infamous punk/alternative band Plan B, alongside ex-Hollis members Darian Pucarelli and Miguel Comissiong. James fell into 7SD's hands during the dying days of Plan B, after the band had kicked out their sixth consecutive singer. He's been with the band since last December.
Neil Casey (Lead Guitar) - Neil Casey is a talented young guitarist hailing from Annadale. He helped found 7SD after a long but eventually failed stint with SI metal kingpins Dark Aura. Wielding an unparalelled mixture of dilligence and guitar savvy, he composes the basic music that evolves into 7SD's straight-foward, two-fisted sound.
Matt Vega (Bass)- Matt Vega is the band's official psychopath. Another member of the founding trio, the fiery red head can be seen on the far right of the stage, headbanging and causing a ruckus while plucking away at his instrument. Fun Fact about Matt: His insanity knows no boundaries
Dan Aiese (Drums) - Dan doesn't talk much, so in the spirit of him I'll keep this short. Dan is 120 lbs. of quiet fury, and he takes it out on his drums. Just look at the scars on his snare skin for proof. His poweful beats drive 7SD's songs into the heads of anyone willing to listen. Dan is the third and final member of the founding trio.
Michael Burke (Rhythm Guitar) - The newest member of the band, Mike Burke was a perfect fit from the first second of his first practice. Burke learned all the songs in record breaking time and was jumping around the basement seconds later, keeping up with his long-time friend James. Burke entered the fold late in November of 2005, after spending 3 years as The Best Roadie Ever for Plan B.
