I realize more now than ever how many things we take for granted. When I leave the wire and get to see more of Iraq, it touches my heart. Some of these children barely have anything, but they are so happy. They always put a smile on my face when I interact with them. We are doing a lot of good for the people of Iraq and it's sad that the media hasn't really picked up on everything, but we're working on that. Troops are improving the towns in Iraq by renovating schools, stadiums, buildings, etc. I'm glad the day's come where I can say we've handed everything over to the Iraqis and they are making immense progress towards controlling their own country again. We're no longer in a war...we're here as support.Never accept love if you can't give yourself in return. Never start a relationship you know you'll want to end eventually. Don't go for looks, it can deceive; Don't go for wealth - even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because only a smile makes a dark day seem bright.You NEVER know how precious life really is until you lose someone that's close to you.
