Rugosa Nevada - Plays Y Not Festival!

..Rugosa Nevada.. are a Derby based four piece, who formed in the spring of 2008. Their blend of influences have ensured the band a fresh sound that is hard to come by and even harder to forget.
The band recorded a two track Demo at Dub:Rek studio in August 2008, (which has been requested by fans as far as the USA), before breaking onto the gigging scene in December 2008. Since their live debut late last year, Rugosa Nevada have played a huge number of gigs accross Britain.
They have recently recorded their debut EP with Alan Smyth, the critically acclaimed producer (produced Arctic Monkeys; Reverend & The Makers; Pulp and The Long Blondes), in his Sheffield studio at the end of May, and are currently in the process of collaborating the artwork ready for the upcoming EP release.
You can hear three out of the four tracks from the EP on this very site. The final song 'Hold' will be uploaded within the next few weeks too - so keep your eyes peeled!
