I'm a very complex person who can go from frivolous to serious in a heartbeat. There are many dualities inside me, contradictions that exist side by side simultaneously. My idiosyncracies either fascinate people or freak them out, but that's the way I choose to be and I'm comfortable with it!
I have three cats and they are my kids. Ozzie, an 18-year-old brown tiger; Worf, a 16-year-old black and white "tuxedo" kitty; and Sammy, a 2-year-old gray tiger. It's pretty obvious the cats own us, not the other way around.
I have 3 tattoos and 8 piercings. Probably more to come...
***I have an obsession with Northeast Iowa.*** It's absolutely beautiful. When I start to enter the "hill country," I literally get chills down my spine.
I live out in the country but not far enough out. I'm not really antisocial but I'm a touch reclusive. Every 4-6 weeks I get the urge to disappear into the woods for about 4 days. When that urge comes upon me, I feel like I HAVE to go, or I'll start randomly snapping necks or something. Someday I will probably disappear into the woods of NE Iowa permanently.
Other things I love: Birds, especially little baby birds; all baby animals except for humans; the moon shining all silvery down on me, especially if it's full; caves; sugar-free chocolates; no sugar added ice cream; the smell of campfire smoke; decaf coffee (preferably Caribou), and SANDBARS. I HAVE A SAND FETISH.
I'm on a never-ending mission to improve myself in all ways. By becoming a better and happier person, I can become more capable of helping people, animals, and the environment.
