I've played guitar since 1980; been part of a number of local bands, projects and tours until dropping out of playing in the late 90's.
A couple years ago being a bit musically frustrated, and getting a musical kick from 'The Atlantics' music -I picked it up again and started to write instrumentals just for fun. After stacking up a number of tunes I decided to send them out to friends.
More recently I've been getting into surf music old/new because it's fun to play.
I'm
influenced by surf guitar and a lot of other music -and - as you've noticed; I also like to experiment a bit. If you like surf guitar I'd highly recommend this site Surfguitar101 which has a wealth of discussion, links and downloads.
I guess I'll keep on playing with a band or without 'cause I just like playing that there guitar...thanks for visiting...
