PUREnoize Magazine came about in an attempt to promote and further highlight the local music scene that we have. Our goal is to bring everybody together on the same page, and fight for the music scene we’re lacking. One of our ultimate goals is to unite all genres and fans. We want to find a venue for local bands and famous bands to come and play in an all-ages environment. We want to give people that are under 21 a place to play and watch shows. We want to give the youth and adults something to do in Redding! A place and/or a way to focus on their music, and have a great time.
We want interviews with local bands. We want to write show and CD reviews. We want to spotlight our local musicians! So if you are in a band, or know anybody who is, please contact us, and you WILL BE IN OUR MAGAZINE! I don’t want to contact you- you need to show me that you want to be involved, and call me. These magazines will be given to local sponsors and places alike. These magazines are free to the public, unless you want a subscription. If you want a subscription it’s $10/year for 6 issues (we print every 2 months), and that’s strictly going to postage so it can arrive at your door.
We want your input! We want this to be a magazine that YOU want to read. We want you to tell us where we need to improve, or what we should include in the magazine! If you went to a show, and decide to come home and review it- send it to us, and we might publish it! We want this to be a magazine that you are involved in, and contribute to. We want you to support us, because we support you. The more people that support us, the better things become for the music community.
