5th Avenue [TBR]

I would write my real name, but it gets butchered enough when people try to say it, so lets not worry about it. I love to read and sleep. I like to play paintball and airsoft. I try my best at everything I do...most of the time, unless I'm bored or sleepy. I workout, some. I enjoy life and try to focus only on the present. The past I can't change and the future...hmmm...I'll take care of that as soon as it becomes the present. I try to enjoy life and not get dragged down by it. I don't drink or smoke anything. For obvious reasons and for reasons that will remain on my side of the keyboard. I'm a graphic desginer. I work at a small print shop in Gaffney. I actually like my job, unlike most people. No everyday isn't good but I can't complain. I am a Sunday School teacher. My life verse is Galatians 2v20. Anything else that comes along, well, I have my faith and love in the Lord and I try.
At some point “the good life” became some distantly imagined finish line that could only be reached through psychotic effort and willful determination. Like over-caffeinated hamsters on a wheel, we began running, sweating, sacrificing and panicking. The weight may be lost but the self-loathing remains. The promotion may be earned, but the expenses keep rising. And despite all outward success, the inner feelings of inadequacy become magnified. Could there possibly be something wrong with this master plan? Is there some lost key to the kingdom of happiness that is being overlooked? You bet you’re #$$ there is.
