Original Clockwork were formed when friends Graham McCusker and Peter Quinn, tired of being lone songwriters, decided to form a band. Early on, it was decided that the role of guitarist would belong to Peter, accompanied by Graham trying bass and occasionally keyboard/piano. As the line up for the band was sought out in mid 2005, things soon changed. From November the band began to practise together regularly and gelled well, completing a short set including "Glance", their first full song. After going through various line ups, the band are now finally settled with kids (Kieran & Mel).
The name Original Clockwork is simply a reflection of the bands view on how their music should be; Unique (original) and tight like clockwork. Original Clockwork are seeking gigs in various venues throughout Scotland, with plans to do a short tour and are currently recording a 7 track demo. Live dates are listed above. Unfortunately, due to a flurry of rising tension, the band split in June 2007. It was most possibly for the best.
