1st project: Walt's Blues Box:The band is a dynamic quintet existing of musicians working since years for and within the music scene. Walt’s Blues Box presents to the audience a dynamical blues panorma reaching from traditional to swingy, jazzy up to the funky blues. An exciting and groovy set, which will creep to every listener’s legs and soul, who loves music and blues.Their songs are partly own songs, songs characteristicaly for Walt's Blues Box. And partly they present cover songs from modern musicians as Roben Ford, Coco Montoya, Keb Mo and also traditional composers such as BB King, Willi Dixon, Muddy Waters, Little Walter.A regular guest for greater concerts and also on the latest CD "Live at Albani" to hear, is the horn section “the upperclass windmachine” leaded by Roman Weissert from Winterthur. The horn section are Roman Weissert (saxophone), Rafaele Lunardi (saxophone), Silvan Kiser (trumpet), Phil Powell (trompone) and Stefan Meister (saxophone). Cool horn riffs with masterly horn solos complete the sound of the band perfectly.The band are: Marco Besomi: Drums Jonas Wolf: Guitars, Backing vocals Walter Baumgartner: Gesang, Harmonicas Markus Schelling: Bass Felix Widmer: Hammond B3, Keyboards, Backing vocals 2nd project: Acoustic Blues DrifterThat's the acoustical music project of Walt Baumgartner. The sound is intim, direct and without any sound equalizers. With the former guitar player, Lukas Schwengeler (at the moment on tour with Sina) he produced the CD "Acoustic Blues Drifter" in 2007.The songs are a mix of own songs and cover songs especially from modern musicians as Keb Mo, Steve Baker & Chris Jones as also traditional songs. The style reaches from blues to country gospel to en in Jazzy styles.
